We have experience serving a variety of populations including Autism, Developmental Delay, Down Syndrome, Learning Disabilities, ADHD. Active Communication Therapy specializes in the treatment of speech and language delays/disorders in pre-school and school age children. Assessment and comprehensive Individualized Treatment Plans are provided by a registered Speech Language Pathologist (SLP).
Generally, it is the Communicative Disorders Assistants (CDAs) who conduct the direct therapy. Communicative Disorder Assistants are professionals who are specifically trained to implement direct speech and language therapy, under the supervision of a registered Speech Language Pathologist. This is an affordable way for families to receive high quality speech and language therapy.
